REPRODUCTION OF ORIGINAL ARTWORK

No matter what you plan to do with it, every great reproduction begins with a great image capture. We use a world class Contax medium format digital camera system, razor sharp Zeis lenses, and a state of the art Phase One digital back to achieve this goal. Our 31.6 megapixel P30 digital back is the first step in a color calibrated, 16 bit color workflow, and is one reason why recording subtle shading and challenging colors are our specialty. Once you have seen the image quality and tonal subtleties of medium format photography, you will realize that 35mm can never compare to it.

We recognize the uniqueness of every piece of art. Because the art is photographed with studio lighting and is not scanned, we are able to adjust the lighting to control the appearance of texture and eliminate reflections. Every watercolor, oil, acrylic, mixed media or three dimensional work is individually lit to best capture it's character and to preserve subtle details. Rest assured that the color, texture and brushstrokes of your artwork will be expertly photographed in preparation for a 100% faithful reproduction at even the largest print sizes.

HOW THE REPRODUCTION PROCESS WORKS FOR ARTISTS

Provide us with your original work, which can be any size up to 60" x 96". Give us three working days or less and we will provide you with a high resolution digital file in TIFF or PSD format on a disk. The file will be provided with either an AdobeRGB or ProPhoto color profile embedded, as directed by you. We also provide a lower resolution JPEG image with each high resolution image. As a courtesy, we keep an archive copy of all your images in our files for future prints that are guaranteed to match the previous ones.
